Zap! (nitenpyram)
Zap! is an oral capsule for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens 4 weeks of age and older and 2 pounds of body weight or greater.
Active Ingredients
Zap! capsules contain 11.4 or 57.0 mg of nitenpyram, which belongs to the chemical class of neonicotinoids. Nitenpyram kills adult fleas.
Directions
A single dose of Zap! should kill the adult fleas on your pet. If your pet gets re-infested with fleas, you can safely give another dose as often as once per day. To give Zap! capsules, place the pill directly in your pet’s mouth or open and mix with food. If you are not sure that your pet swallowed the pill, it is safe to give a second pill. Treat all infested pets in the household. Fleas can reproduce on untreated pets and allow infestations to persist.
Other Information
Zap! begins working within 15-30 minutes. In studies, nitenpyram achieved greater than 90% effectiveness against adult fleas on dogs within 4 hours and cats within 6 hours. Zap! is safe for pregnant or nursing dogs and cats.
When using this product, you may notice that your dog or cat will start scratching itself as fleas begin to die. The scratching behavior is temporary and is a reaction to the fleas, not the drug. In very rare cases in cats, this may present as transient signs of hyperactivity, panting, vocalization and excessive grooming.
Zap! kills adult fleas that cause flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). Also, fleas transmit other parasites, including tapeworms. The control of flea infestations is important to your pet’s health and also reduces the problems associated with these parasites.
Zap! may be used together with other products, including heartworm preventives, corticosteroids, antibiotics, vaccines, de-worming medications, shampoos and other flea products.
Zap! does not affect fleas in the pet’s environment. You may need to treat more than one time because immature fleas in and around the home will continue to develop into adults that can reinfest your pet.
In addition to killing adult fleas with Zap!, you can treat your pet with an insect development inhibitor like lufenuron to prevent and control flea populations.

Zap
One of my dogs is allergic to many things including the flea collars & topical drops which left her neck irritated & raw. Searching for an alternative I found Ultimate Flea Destruction Mission . It’s a safe product to use often & once the fleas are irradicated, I give to my dogs about every 10 days, less in the colder months. This stuff WORKS, the cost is a fraction of what the other flea meds cost, and my vet approves! We had one hiccup, but it was immediately fixed and the shipping is incredibly fast. This product has been a true lifesaver for almost 10 years. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Carole, Dixie, & Kash

Zap! Dogs over 25 lbs.
My girl German Shepard is highly sensitive to flea bites. When I see her get bit, she goes nuts chewing on the spot. I give her 2 caplets (90 lbs) and problem solved, with dead fleas visible. Works great, at a great price.

Zap Adult Flea killer
Works like a charm for 24 hours all fleas that climb on the dog bites the dog then dies. After 48 hours it's time to redose your dog to repeat the cycle. I know you can dose your dog every day but waiting makes the results very apparent.

I will forever swear by this company and product!
Been using for over 5 years. So much more gentle than a topical and topicals make me very nervous. These are gentle yet effective!! I mix mine into some wet food to mask the taste. No problems in all the years of using it. I rescue too and have used this product on dozens upon dozens of furbabies!
